I finally got these installed. I used a set of stock fox seat tracks, sliders and springs to mount the Boss 302 seats in the 93.

First, remove the OEM seat tracks from the Boss seats.

Note, the OE seat track for the drivers seat also had a manual control lever that is integrated into the track. You must remove the lever and then use the cap that originally attached to the lever to fill the empty hole.

The Fox seat tracks mount to the seat on a 14″ x 14″ square pattern. You can see here that the stock track rests on an edge that is on boss seats. This was just about right.

I riveted the tracks in first to test fitment.

Finally ran bolts with lock washers and this was the result.

Sorry about the poor lighting. Next is to get some suspension back under the car – then some outside shots!

Long story but my car is missing the drivers seat. It only has 33k miles on it – so the passenger seat is like showroom new. I haven’t had any luck finding a matching drivers seat, so I started hunting for a different pair of front seats.

I ended up finding this set of Boss 302 Recaro seats from the 2012 Boss 302. I imagine these are either a pre-production seat or were blems of some sort and were replaced.

BTW, does anyone want to buy a really nice passenger seat?

It’s a long story but the end result is that I am missing the drivers seat from my coupe. The remaining passenger seat is original, looks new and has 33k miles on it. It has hardly ever been sat in and the car has always been garaged. I checked with SMS fabrics to try to get matching material to recover a used drivers seat that I had acquired but the samples that they sent me just don’t match. They claim that my interior is just faded but I don’t believe that it is. You can clearly see brown tones and differences in the patterns. They insist that this is the original fabric…is this just so that they can sell it for higher than normal prices? Who knows. What do you think?
